The glitter is settled, the heels are strapped, and the most fabulous pub crawl in Sydney is back with a vengeance. After a massive debut, Sydney Dragaround returns for its second edition—and this time, we’re officially kicking off the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras season in style.
If you’re looking to support the Oxford Street daytime economy while witnessing world-class drag, this is your golden (or pink, or purple…) ticket.
What is Sydney Dragaround?
Think of it as a high-stakes, high-glamour scavenger hunt, but instead of clues, you’re finding incredible performances and cold drinks. As a first-of-its-kind event for Sydney, Dragaround turns the traditional pub crawl into a moving theatre experience.
How It Works: Choose Your Tribe
When you grab your ticket, you aren’t just a spectator; you’re part of a team. You’ll join one of four colored squads:
• Team Pink * Team Purple
• Team Blue * Team Green – Certain Colours may be sold out.
Each team starts at one of four iconic participating venues along the Oxford Street circuit. From there, the rotation begins!

The 5 iconic venues to crawl are The Oxford Hotel, Burdekin Hotel, Stonewall Hotel, The Colombian, and Universal.
The Ultimate Drag Showdown
At every stop on the crawl, you’ll be treated to an exclusive performance by competing drag artists. We aren’t just here to watch, though—we’re here to judge.

• Crawl: Support our local bars by grabbing a drink at every stop.
• Vote: At the end of the cycle, you’ll cast your vote for your favorite artist to help crown the Dragaround champion.
